Paul Willis is a writer and artist. Born and raised in the north-east of England he began his journalism career in his mid-twenties working on his hometown newspaper. Since then he has traveled the globe. So too has his writing, which has appeared in media across the English-speaking world.

As a self-taught animator, he has worked on documentaries, music videos, festival short-listed films, and personal projects via the Poetry in Motion channel on YouTube.

He lives in the Hudson Valley, New York, with his wife – a visual artist – and daughter.
